I was rather shocked by a UI maker today.

I'm sure many of you use eqinterface to get your screens looking just right for yourselves as well, and I had completely forgot how wonderful the mod community can be. I've been using SparxxUI since my return to the game, and have been loving it. However, for the resolution I keep my screen set at the bank window was just too high vertically to fit in my window (1366x768). I simply made a comment (my first over there, ever) and within a few minutes the man himself, tracked me down in EQ to tell me that he made an alternate bank window to fit in my UI and keep with the theme (which was my main concern, as there are many wonderful stand alone bank pieces).

So.. I feel obligated to share this wonderful creation...and support my new favorite modder. Thank you Sparxx!

Congrats, I'm hoping default old is going to be updated. I was able to use it last night, but the augments are not showing up. They are giving the augments value though.

I'll also just throw down that I am a fan of the SparxxUI.

I downloaded Sparxx and will give it a try. It's always nice to have a UI that is lovingly maintained like VertUI.

Actually mine is default as well, but only recently. But only because Savok, (VertUI's creator) quit EQ a little while back and I reverted, assuming it would become unsupported. It didn't, and he came back to the game.

I miss the customizations though, and I am going to try both Sparxx and Vert just for fun. They are a pain to keep updated though, I totally agree.

I also use the default UI. Heck I just learned I can re-size my hotkey bar.

I remember years ago, for me anyway, it started with just wanting a new spellbar.. then piece by piece I had built a UI...but of course the downside was anytime the game updated, I had to remember what all I was using. Sure life would be simpler without them... but sometimes its worth it to have a giant skull covered spellbar or something. I guess my other reason was to let the new players that may not know things like this still are being worked on or even exist for a game this old.

I will say though that only 2 of my characters actually use this custom one. Bazaar mules, or lowbies I try to let them play the game as pure as can be until I'm more sure of their abilities.
