Greetings!

Since it's dxp this weekend and my girlfriend will be out of town until Monday i was thinking this would be a good time to bring my shammy alt to pair with my main 

Shammy is lvl 70 with about 200 AA and crappy gear (PoP). My main is a nec at 87 and 2k AA.
What is the best and quickest way to get my shammy 10 lvls or so? Let him sit grouped with nec while I root/kite stuff to death in lets say Feerrot?
Or better to root/rot with shammy and do 50%+ dam then burnt he mob down with nec?
I never tried this PL-thing so advice would be welcome 

Pick a hot zone. I would start in direwind, but there are lots of tasks you can find in sunderock that involve vergalid. I wouild actively use the shaman to keep some skills up, while leveling.

What Jonwin said...

Ideally in whatever zone you pick, mobs will be red for your shammy and light blue for your main. Group them, put your shammy on auto-follow, kill with main, assist with shammy by setting up an assist macro.
first line targets mob,
second line has pet attack,
third line slows mob,
fourth line casts a dot,
make the fifth line canni to keep your skills up.

It makes no difference if your shammy spells stick to the mob or not...at this point

Have fun.

Thanks always, you just gave me a new hot key to make. Had never in 10 years thought of putting 2 spell casts on one macro.

Though at level 70 if you go to vergalid the mobs will start out lb or db for the shaman. Tasks in zone for hot zone are easy, the quests from sunderock can add extra exp which I have been using for aa points. So maybe try direwind, lots of quests there as well.

I think I rather just do the old grind then bother with quests/task. Then again, if thats where the xp is then I might change my mind hehe.

Another option would be to not have them grouped, take mob down to 10% hp or so, FD and dot with shammy and let him get the kill/xp. Then a bit higher lvl mobs would be better I think.
Skills are not that important at the moment, I justwant to get lvls this weekend. I'll work on skills and armor after lvl 80.

thanks for the input guys - can't wait for the weekend to be here :)

Quests aren't where the experience is, but it's something to do.. Hehe. I've been doing those Hero's Journey tasks, just because I'm bored to death.
Anywho, I'd go to hot zones since they provide more experience and being that it's double xp weekend, all the better.

Have not seen anything on SoE's forums regarding 2X exp on this weekend starting Friday or anything regarding 3X SC on their site? Is their marketing team on an 8hour coffee break or do they even have a marketing team?

They don't have a marketing team. They still haven't posted links, stats or images of the ROF pre-order items.
