I went and bought several 30 day walmart cards, figured 200k would be an alright price to ask per card, anyone have counter prices they think work best?

Sony Online Entertainment does not condone unlicensed 3rd party sales of Station Cash cards. Please do not purchase any Station Cash cards being offered for sale by other players in-game, as such cards have often already been consumed and we will not be able to assist As an addition note, even though we will not assist customers who have purchased a station cash card from another SOE customer, if you are selling consumed station cash cards to other SOE customers you will face harsh disciplinary actions against all your accounts. SoE staff does read these forums. So I would go off the hip and kind of wing it and take your chances.

I don't know anything about SOE policy, but on E.Marr there is constant "WTB SC card xxxK plat" spam in General chat. Low price is 125k and high is 175k.
Selling game cards is something SOE has turned a blind eye towards for quite some time now. I would expect that to change if they introduce Krono to EQ but for now you should be fine. On FV there are TONS of people that buy and sell them. I looked and looked last year for info on what SOE thought of the issue and that link of Vinneys said NOTHING like that back then it was changed a few days ago. My guess is they changed it because of Kronos.
Average price is about 300k for normal card 350k for WM card on FV.
I cant find it now but when i looked before i found a forum post where a CSR basically said its technically against the rules but ATM they dont do anything about it.

I'm not suprised its against EULA, but I'm not buying from a website.. that's definitive, this just seems safest.

Since SC cards are effectively "cash equivalents" I'm at a loss to see why Sony doesn't consider these transactions the same as selling plat for cash, which they already ban. I mean if I bought a bunch of Itunes gift cards for $15 each and started offering them for plat in game, I'd bet I wouldn't get very far with that strategy.
The only reason I can see them tolerating such transactions up to now is for the purpose of encouraging players ultimately to pay plat for Kronos. Note the difference. Kronos can only be bought from Sony and costs $17.99 for 30 days. The Walmart cards cost $14.99 and Walmart gets a cut so Sony realizes probably only $12 or maybe less from each sale. Kronos are basically a technique for Sony to sell plat to players without doing it directly and getting their hands "dirty."

Valid points, but honestly rather than buying from a website where I encourage the plat farming companies I can just sell to players looking for SC or 30 days, so it feels like a win/win.

As Vinney quoted and linked, SOE's stated policy is very much "this is not allowed".
But much like speeding, j-walking or riding around without your seat belt the man has to detect you *and* have the desire to do the paper work. So I expect a blind eye will be turned.

This is NOT the same as "not allowed." Sony does not expressedly ban this. They won't "condone" it because they don't want to deal with disputes over sales of codes which have already been used. Basically this says "do what you want but we won't get involved with disputes." That's hardly the same as a ban.
Meh.. reading > me. You are right.. I skimmed the "you will face harsh disciplinary actions against all your accounts" and missed the all important "if you are selling consumed station cash cards to other SOE customers". So I fail.
And I agree with you, they should treat this the same.
As long as you are not selling "consumed" cards (ie cards that have already been redeemed for the station cash) you are fine as far as that notice goes.
