1 - Are they just in the new RoF zones? I haven't seen any drops or "glowing spots" (like in EQ2) anywhere I've been since the expansion came out. But I'm lower level, and haven't been to RoF zones.
2 - Is there any web resource anywhere for this? I've searched the major EQ sites, and done Google searches, but haven't seen anything.

They are there...glowing... seems to be random. the only guide I got is by clicking on achievements. After you pick up item and click it. That item appeares as received and you can not click on a duplicate of same item... have picked up items in 3 different RoF zones.

I submitted every collection achievement to Allakhazam and it is now updated. There's four achievements per zone, 3 of which are ground spawns. The fourth achievement's items are dropped from NPCs. There is no guide at the moment saying where these items drop and from what NPC. Ormus and I started to make a list of locations, but we didn't get very far and subsequently gave up.
Thanks for the responses. The answer to the first question confirmed for me that I won't see any of these for a while, and can stop trying to find out more about them :)
