I snuck in a few hours early with this, but it's been hit-and-miss for updates lately.

I invest $15 to resub! I was going to log in anyways, and that usually means I roll a pile of new characters (that maybe one of gets played past level 25). Since I don't like the CR as home city restriction or the constant spam to upgrade... I don't mind the 15 bucks. No bets on me keeping the sub active long enough to cost me another $15 though.

I fiddled around logging in characters all over the place serverwise. I'd forgotten that I had cleaned house a few years back when I merged accounts so there wasn't near as many characters around. I realized quickly that I didn't want to pick up anything already in progress/abandoned.

I had a pile of Station Cash sitting there (from being gold-subbed in the past) so I made a heroic monk. My existing monks are level 65 on FV (where I am not in the mood to play) and level 41 on Cazic which is basically a long-night in a hotzone to accomplish so it let me skip some stuff I don't want to do (skilling up and levelling the same range I always play). I want to explore some places and kill some things my past efforts haven't got me to.

I crashed 4x zoning from/to PoK (which is not normal for me) so I didn't actually do much in the 4 hours I played. Amazing how fast setting up windows, hotkeys, looking at baz and logging alts eats the time.

The only level-to-do-it thing tempting me at the moment is doing an Shadowknight and completing greenmist while it's still a good weapon for the character to use. Not sure I'm that motivated though.

What did everyone else do? Let's wake this board up a bit... chime in even if you haven't been playing!

I had a blast from the past with my lvl 87 necro - full group of real (not MB-d) players in HoT and The Grounds. We had a cleric in group! Smiley: nodCleric, not a healer merc.
OMG, that was good...

I only puttered around playing about a dozen or so alts. I was working on various aspects of their epics and/or working on skills. Accomplished nothing other than killing some time.

I got on with my Wiz for a bit. Kinda drifting with him at the moment. Decided to do the Oceangreen task set, cause it's kinda fun (well, mostly). So that's something. I haven't been able to play much for the last month due to doing ridiculous amounts of work on the house. I've been putting off "fixing the place up" for ages, and finally got the bug in to do it. So going through each room, clearing out tons of junk and whatnot has been consuming most of my weekend time. Add to that a bit of a heatwave that's been going on for the last few weeks and there hasn't been a lot of desire to sit in front of a running computer for any length of time.

I plan on playing more now though. So maybe finally make some progress.

The heroic monk was born on Trakanon.

There is a tiny 85+ population there so no farmers (or at least minimal farming) of places I want to dabble. Not much sense farming things that won't sell.

I can easily stay out of the way of the <Lost In Progression> folk as they are doing PoP right now. Supposing I was doing something PoP and they zoned in to raid I would defer and get out of the zone anyways... I'm just randomly spleunking about is my vision. However, since I mostly don't like PoP I don't think there is a worry there. Seeing the sights I want is the plan. Doing /who all searches I have come to the belief that LiP is the dominant population of Trakanon and that is pretty awesome.

I like the 2 baz vendors in baz as well (two offline, that is all). Very ghost-town --I made a point of buying something off both of them last night even though I didn't need the stuff --everyone needs encouragement!. Also, if I get bored I can free-move to the much busier Vox where I have some other characters.

Not till you mentioned it.

I could pretend they have given me super-admn status!

The truth is I have no idea. Hopefully my account isn't bugged. It's taken me ages to post 2k and become a shiny green name.

Aethien, I think, had mentioned in a feedback forum thread. I only noticed, 'cause I've been refreshing every minute, and seen your post, but no name. Not into watching TV, nor taking a nap, so pound the reload page(s) button. :P

I didn't get to play as much as I wanted to but worked my newest (third) necro alt for a few hours on Saturday night- just xp'ing then Sunday spent a couple hours gathering spells, some cheap gear upgrades from the bazaar and trying to skill up his neglected spell skill lines (divination etc) while slacking in POK.

I swear that even though they say you can use the lowest possible spell to do skill ups...I still find that some spells are better then others at getting the message/emote for a successful skill up at certain levels..No scientific evidence to support my "hype"-pothesis but it really seems so to me.

Friday night after work I did a bunch of LDoN missions for the achievments, mostly Guk, still have over 200 to do to max the Adventurers Stone.
After that a bunch of us met in Western Wastes hoping to get enough people to raid the dragons in the Corrupted Temple of Veeshan but we had under 30 show up so that was a bust.
Saturday morning I was up early as usual to join the regular night shift / Australian players group, 2 mages, enchanter, me the ranger and 2 healer mercs. We've been banging our heads against the last Argin Hiz group mission Burn Out, getting closer and closer to winning. Didn't start off well when our enchanter died on the first pull but we managed to recover without everyone dying. All those mobs have line of sight aggro so if they have funky pathing on their way back to spawn point, you better watch out! Best thing to do if it all goes to pot is to zone out and wait for reset, which we did. On the 2nd attempt we used what we'd learned in previous tries, keep the pets healed when sword adds spawn and hose down the 1st named, then on the final 2 nameds keep them as balanced as possible and kill the phoenix adds FAST. We finally beat it, whew, what a great satisfying win after so many early morning wipes.
Later on Saturday I did a few more LDoN missions then got a group together for some Dead Hills xp missions.
Saturday night was our usual alliance raid, now hitting Rain of Fear stuff. We've got the Shard's Landing, Crystal Caverns and Kael raids on farm status and beat the Eastern Wastes dragon Raid for the first time, after only one previous try, not bad for a motley crew. Picked up a few new pieces of visible raid gear which was a nice dps boost for me, had been wearing a set of the Manifested Ether stuff prior to that.
Sunday was some more LDoN missions then grouping in Bixie Warfront doing missions to get the shinies to completed the collection achievment Prolific Pollinators. Amazingly we got 4 snapdragons, the rare shiney, out of 3 missions.
A pretty good weekend in all, especially beating that Argin Hiz mission, what a pita!

I didn't do anything this weekend. I was away. Got a TA for the Vox OMM raid on Monday but that was it.
