Boy that drop must be super-rare in the Grounds. I can't even count how many mobs I've killed there and never seen even one bag drop.

The weight bags are incredibly rare drops off of any HoT or VoA named mob. Since they have introduced them, I think I have gotten 5 of them. Granted I spend basically ALL my time in House of Thole or VoA. Personally, I've gotten 3 32 slottters and 2 24 slotters.

Since they increased the spawn rate of named in House of Thule your best bet to farm them is probably House of Thule Lower Floors. That zone easily has the highest concentration of named. Farming them though is still somewhat unrealistic.

The random generator doesn't always seem to be random and works in strange ways at times. As I remember when SOF was live and even into SOD days, I used to sometimes farm the rank 1 version of the Necro dot spell "Reavers Pyre" off of the pumpkin head like mobs in Hills of Shade, and for weeks of killing them I never got it to drop.

Then one lovely day, I got two of them in one 1/2 hour session.

I think you underestimate how much time I spend in House of Thule and how many named I have killed lol.

For what it's worth, I got 2 of the 32 slotters off of the named rotdogs in HoT courtyard, and I got one of them off the named Mist Elemental thingamajig that drops the AC/Str aug in Argath.

These days, HoT named spawn VERY VERY often. Feels like 9/10 times you will get a named to spawn in the cycle.

On a side note: I got a 20 slotter and another 24 slotter while completing the tasks in Morrel's Castle today. So either I'm the luckiest person when it comes to these bags, or it really is just about killing as many HoT named as fast as you possibly can.

The drop rate is 1% of any namer post HoT expansion, certain raids have a 100% chance of chests iirr. So to answer your question, there is no easy way to farm these. You can certainly try, but you'd be wasting your time unless you have ample of time to sit there and spawn namers all day, just to camp these. You are looking at 1 per 100 namers.

The only way you can increase your chance is to find a spot with a camp with 5-6 namers nearby and run around killing ph's to spawn namers, even then you'd be looking at alot of time wasted in game. They sell for fairly cheap in bazaar, about 500k-2 mill plat depending on the slots. The amount of time it would take to farm just 1, could have farmed 10 million plat easily.
