There has been alot of talk floating around the server that I am on about the necro epic being nerfed to work up to lvl 85. Can anyone shed some light on this as a rumor or something that DB is looking into doing. Even though the Necro epic is really outdated, most of us still use it for the 8-10% increase chance on crits.However, that being said, with the new gear and focus items from the new expansions , tribute, DoN completions, chanter/bard buffs we can still reach 90% or better on crit percents. It does kinda suk that there are items we can't use for more HP/Mana since the epic is taking up the primary slot. Any insight on this rumor of the epic being nerfed ( for a lack of better word) would really be appreciated and would calm alot of people from bugging out. HAIL INNY !

I didn't hear anything about it on my server, but I am a bit worried now after hearing this.

Because if they were to simply nerf the Necro epic (while leaving all other dot-crit-chance mods the same) to affect up to 85 spells only, the focus on the best group gear available to a Necro (ie at level 95 or 100) will not make up for the lost 10% chance to crit dots and we will suffer in dps.

I cannot speak for TDS gear as I'm not in that content as yet. Just checked the EQ class site and EQ forums and saw nothing on the topic atm..
