I saw the notice about the double XP weekend, so I went All Access again. I wanted to start a few new chars, but I didn't want their home town to be Crescent Reach. I created a Dorf Berzerker on Tunare and an Iksar SK on Lockjaw. I got the Zerker to 31 and the SK to 12 before I jumped back on to Mystro my Bard from our Lunar Mutant Rights Now sojourn.
Things went very well, I took him to level 70 and upgraded a lot of his equipment. This is how he looks now: Mystro's Magelo profile
Just before I ended my session, someone in Anguish linked this item: Notched Blade of Bloodletting, I decided to try making a run for it even though I have never been to Anguish. I made it to within seconds of the zoneline before dying a miserably quick death. Something must have seen through my invis, but I died so quickly I didn't see what killed me. Oh well, it was not meant to be.
I love the low end game in EQ. I have only one char played to 80+ (my Paladin) and I "heroiced" 2 levels on him before taking him to his current 87. Thus, I am sadly lacking in knowledge on most of the higher level zones. In regular play, the closest I have ever come to Anguish was leveling my Necro in Noble's Causeway. I would have loved that sword, but offers like that are few and far between in these days of reduced populations on many servers. I would like to thank Mysticleesa (sorry can't remember the exact spelling) for the sword offer and doubly so for the rez and buff afterwards. Even though I lost the sword, it was not to bad of a return to EQ.
