New Quarm server (from DBG forums)

This is pretty kick-***. I'm super-impressed with the efforts DBG is putting out here. And I LOVE the idea of a new server providing rewards which can improve a player's mains on "regular" servers. And they're even providing benefits for groupers: for example, there appears to be a decent reward just for completing the Anguish flagging quests, which can be ported to your main. For example, 500 AA's and a teleport device to the firepots in Timorous Deep---although 10-hour recast time kinda sucks. (Not sure I like that stupid hat on my main's head, either, but each to his own there.)

Omens of War was a great expansion, whose major flaw was the difficulty level for toons of that era but it looks like they've tinkered with that as well.

So far this looks like nice work on the part of DBG devs! Check it out...

Hey I can be as critical of EQ and its current owner as anyone. But gotta give them some credit when they look to do something right. Time only will tell how right it goes out of the box, of course.
