Can't log in or go to daybreaks site? What is the deal?

Same here, was in pok and long lag spikes and freezing up. /ex the game and will not load launcher nor the eq website will load up.

Just for giggles, I tried EQ2 and their launch pad wont load either.

Everything is down including the ability to notify daybreak that they are down. Glad I cancelled my account several weeks ago with the server instability crap. Currently there is no ability to cancel an EQ account.

That's why I came here: was wondering if my ISP might be acting up.

Guess all we can do now is wait it out. Ticks me off: I had a few hours free to play this afternoon, but couldn't log in. :(

Kind of wondering if somebody is trying to DOS them, since running a trace to the EQ servers is jumping me all over the place and the final twenty hops just time out completely. On a bad day I see seventeen hops to the EQ servers and today it is over thirty.

lizard squad is just a poor excuse from daybreak. for $1500 each they could upgrade servers that prevent ddos attacks. daybreak does not care enough about their customers to invest a little money to keep the customer happy. they know that very few people cancel their accounts so they don't have to perform. daybreak is only still in business due to the junky nature of their customers. just like heroin addicts.

4:30 EST still down

@4:45 eastern was able to login by bypassing the patcher.
