Logged onto my monk in Velk's twice and couldn't get a group so switched to the little ranger.
Ranger did well in an orc hill group and is now level 8.
Played maybe a total of 3 hours. The grind below level 20 doesn't hold my attention for long nowadays. Ironically I could have done 3-4 hours each time on the monk but spending a bunch of that time moving around to maybe get a group isn't appealing to me at the moment.
I probably need to find a good casual leveling guild on Agnarr or the monk is stalled until Luclin.
Holiday stuff is happening, so that is good.

Tried to log in just now and at the character screen nothing is showing and there's a little window in the middle of the screen that says "loading characters" which it clearly isn't. (I'm premium if that makes any difference.(?) San Diego better have been destroyed by a rogue comet, else, I'mma be

I recently started playing with a group of people on Tunare. Have been all solo/boxing for 6+ years now, but can't box due to some PC issues right now. Soloing sucks as a druid, so I figured I should find some folks to play with. Saw them post in guild recruitment on the EQ forums. It's been fun so far (just over a week), and have been able to get some progression quests done. Very happy with the decision to find a group to play with, I highly recommend it!

Having a good time on Agnarr. My ranger Maleri is at 41 seasons now, I have a druid at 38. My trade skiller is a 19 shammy who is always complaining about having to upgrade his skills to keep the other two in gear, lol.
Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.

Monday, fired up EQ, and grinded out 10 AA's on my 55 BL. Just to get into the groove again...

Sorry for the necro, but this appears the place for us old sods to show up and say "hey, playing again".
Been running LDoNs solo -- as in parking a boxed toon in PoK with its merc -- for the Achievements. Strangely, at 71, still getting a decent return on AA for Normal collection adventures, but trying to get to the last couple of mobs to complete the LDoN slayer achievements is working my last good nerve.
Anyway, been running IC -- logged into all my old toons to update the DB and I think I'm the reason IC went a little jittery the other day based on the amount of items seen and updated.
Great to be back and see you guys again -- if anyone is ever bored on Drinal, shoot me a tell, we'll go kill 10 rats or something. ;-)
Oh, question -- when did they decide to give BLs Monk attacks? Pulled up my Skills and saw Dragon Punch, Tiger Strike, and Round Kick (rather like the chance for a RK to trigger an additional Kick).
