Just curious. I made a druid and got him to level 1.33 in Misty before I got bored. LOL. You know his name.
When I first tried to log into Selos, the UI told me I had a wait of about 5million minutes. Yeah! Translate that to months for me! The other new server had a 94-minute wait. Goes to show how much enticement lurks in faster XP.
An hour later I tried again and got into Selos right away. Even got the name I wanted.
Dunno about you all, but I can't seem to find the nostalgia in me to play from level 1 all over again. I did on P99 because that was totally nostalgic, complete with original zones, boats amd every trapping of the game as it was in 1999. And even then when they introduced Kunark I just couldn't find the stamina to go thru those 10 original hell levels (with 59 being a quinto-hell level, as bad as 5 hell levels) all over again to get to 60. So I bailed on P99.
You can't go home again, alas!
Somebody playing on FV told me the "excitement" of the new progression servers is that it's easier to buy kronos on such servers because the expert plat pharmers can raise plat faster, relative to the inflationary values of the plat, on new servers than old. But I can't believe most players on Selos are hard-at-work plat pharmers.... are they?!
