Is there a way to Ping a server and get its location ? I'm trying to find a server that geographically would be closer to me. Or are they all located in california ?

I just did a tracert, it filters out at level3 in Las Vegas which is where their data center was for the past few years.
I do know they moved their data over to a new data center. I'm not sure about their game servers though, they could still be hosted at level3 in Las Vegas.
The only one that's not hosted in Las Vegas is Antonius Bayle which is the EU server hosted in Amsterdam.

Thanks for the information, explains alot of things for me being in NY. I have Fios Gigabit Internet so my connection is good, however my computer is about 5 years old which is probably the weak link. I was hoping there was a dedicated server for the east coast but I think Europe would be worse for me. Thanks
For what it's worth...when I was on AB back in the day I had an excellent connection and I live in western South Dakota.
