Mithra - HumeFollow

i have done a bit of research about Hume and Mithra, and discovered some things you might not expect...

these stats are taken from the ranger. you will find the percentage of difference in the stats between races remains the same in different jobs.

Strength

yes Hume have a bit more strength than Mithra, but i worked out that some things that make Mithra come out doing more damage...

Hume Strength (Lv 70): 50
Mithra Strength (Lv 70): 46

so the hume's strength is.....
8.69565217391304347826086956522% higher than Mithra.
lets just say 9 %

so if a Mithra's attack is 100, Hume's would be 109 at the same level.


Dexterity

dexterity is the accuracy and evasion of melee attacks (from what i have heard).

Hume Dexterity (Lv 70): 54
Mithra Dexterity (Lv 70): 66

Mithra's Dexterity is 22.222' % more than hume's.
lets say 22 %.

(hume is getting an advantage, becuase i have rounded the numbers against Mithra each time.)

so this means that if a hume hits the enemy 100 times (missing a certain amount of hits), Mithra would have hit 122 times (also missing, but not as much).

we can simplify this to..

'Hume: 50 hits' / 'Mithra: 61 hits'

going back to the Strength...

Hume: 50 x 109 = 5450
Mithra: 61 x 100 = 6100

so a Mithra would deal 6100 over a certain number of attacks, while hume deals 5450 damage.

So mithra deals more damage overall, meaning they are (in theory) higher than average in the physical jobs like Warrior, Monk, Dragoon, Ninja, Samurai.

also, more hits means more TP gain!


The same applies with long ranged damage, becuase Mithra agility is very high.

i also found the same rule applies in Vitality - Dexterity.
Mithra take less damage in the long run due to high evasion.

i am not saying to the people who have already chosen Hume they have made a bad choice. as Hume are better at the jobs like beast master, and bard.
it is just a guidline in these Statistics. and should help anybody to decide if they are going to play as Mithra.

the reason i was suprised by this, is coz everyone says that hume are much better at being a warrior, dragoon and other jobs like that. but if you look at the stats overall, Mithra ends up dealing more damage at the end of the fight. so Mithra should acctually make great warriors and other melee jobs.
