A question about the San d'Oria Trust questFollow

Hi,

I've just completed the Sandy trust quest and have obtained Excenmille. However, when I spoke to Gondebaud to begin the trust quest, he gave me a Red institute card key item to take to Excenmille. After summoning Excenmille, I then returned to the real Excenmille and he gave me a San d'Oria Trust Permit but also at the same time told me to show the Red institute card to Gondebaud. When I checked the chat log I noticed that the Red institute card key had been removed and I no longer had the item? I can return to Gondebaud who speaks about a guide to the trust system and that's all.

Is this a bug? Or is a player meant to have the Red institute card key still?

Yeah I got the permit. I was just wondering why the quest text said that and if anyone else had noticed.
