i put a gems in my armor that gave me +3 light magic, shoulda been plus 4, but with the level/5+1, it only let me have +3 at my level. My current Light was 9, it showed up as 9+3 in my window. but it didnt give me any of my level 10,11,12 spells. is this a bug or doesnt it actually do anything when you get plus skills. it was the same thing with my blunt weapons, it showed up as 8+2 but didnt get the new attack styles.

This is actually something that can be easily mistaken. When you spellcraft +skill onto something and you have 9+3 of the skill.. You still only get up to the level 9 spells, but you have a to-hit bonus of level 12 and your damage actas as if you were level 12. You will never get any additional spells or anything from having additional skill from equipment. If you have any more questions, let me know
