Started my first animist today. I just have a couple of questions.
1. Is there a more power efficient way of setting up the shrooms, any formation thats better than another, any order that you set them up in??
Actually, I think that states everything I'm curious about.

Ok you seem to want to solo with your tons of shroom hehehe.

These are the formation you can set up your shrooms to in different ways:
1.) soloing onage a easy way:
Very simpel get your main pet out and pull a mob with it wait till the pet landed a hit on the mob, then debuff the mob and step back a bit start nuking the mob once your pet is 40% life down.
you can easly solo orange that way ... never get your power bar under 50% and your downtime will not be big.
2.) soloing reds:
Gets your main pet close enough to a red mob, and set lvl 5 shrooms far enough from the main shroom so that they will not hit the red mob before it reaches the main pet. heal the main pet with minimum heal and when the red mob doesnt start to run after you it will be dead soon.
Set so many lvl 5 shroom that your power bar is still 60% up and your power usage with healing main pet doesnt go below 50%.
Though soloing red is not really worth it cause downtime often bigger and the chance you get killed is higher.

If ya Arb spec you can easly just nuke the yellows and ornage to death before the reach you .
... Verd. and Creep path work a bit different though ...
I am not the best to ask for a shroom placement hunting though cause I am Arb spec.

In my opinion, theres one formation that works the best, and is the most safe. In the case that you went arboreal path, this is probably the safest way to solo. Face the group of mobs you want to destroy (bwahah :D) and then put your controlled shroom in front of you. This will be your shroom for pulling. Behind you, keep your FnF (fire and forget) shrooms far enough away from casting range from teh group, so they don't pull when you're not ready. Make sure they're still in range of the controlled turret though. So, you pull wtih your controlled shroom and your little mobby comes to attack it, then your FnF shrooms open fire. It works pretty damn well for me, I can burn through a whole group of like, yellow-orange in about 4-7 minutes. Maybe less. Hehe. Just rest while your pets do the work... Although this strategy is effective, its quite the grind. So... Bleh.
THe most important thing is to experiment, try new things, if something doesn't work out, you've learned from your mistakes and you can move on to the next idea. Find a style or formation that suits you.
