OK, I'm a frustrated DAoC player. Normally I played on Bedevere/Hibernia, but due to the guild's serious lack of activity, as well as my friends' general disappearance, I gave up and ran rampant on Gaheris for quite a while.
I've had the ToA expansion pack since it was first released, but NONE of my chars have ever played there. Heck, I actually zoned there for the first time this afternoon, just to get a look at the areas.
My question is this: Are any of the areas in ToA safe for a 38Druid to solo or are these zones strictly BringYourOwnGroup??

There are some place's you can solo there, Look under water near all the Haven's. Thats where most of the lower level mobs are. Don't expect to get a bunch of cool gear from them tho the coin is alot better then SI.
You must understand ToA was built around grouping. There are some solo quest and artis available but not many. If you insist on being a solo charactor i strongly recommend you get a bot.
ToA is a blast compared to the old world just need to get into a guild thats in a strong alliance and you will have no problems. Finding groups for ML/Arti raids will be very easy. Also I have found that if you volenteer and help peeps out they will help you out. What's around, come's around.
TIP:
You need to do some reaserch. ToA has alot of faction quest and Arti's. You don't want to EXP off a mob that will give you a bad faction with the mobs you want to get arti's from.

Thanks for the advice.
I was able to duo for a bit last night in ToA, and I must admit, the eye-candy is incredible and the mobs hit for a ton!!!
Already picked up a bit of useful info, such as Do Not Attack The Sacred Lions!!!!
Now to just find a decent guild in a strong alliance. Le sigh.

I would try Oceanus Hesperos around Harpy island. If your facing the djinn run past the white wall towards the islands you will see. Its the 3rd island, lots of marble colloms. The whole water area around that is good hunting too. On harpy island you can get the scrolls for 3 different artifacts: Gem of lost memories, Hunters Scrool and some others! Plus some nice armor.
