I am having some trouble deciding on what type of magic user character i am wanting to be, i still dont even know what realm i am goin to be in. But i read in the manual that some groups may not like a "pet class" wizard because the pets steal xp, when a pet kills a monster, do u gain the xp, or the pet, and what good would it do the pet to gain xp, can they level?

Hi,

First of all i have not had any problems getting in any group because of my pet.
As a matter of fact when they see my pet kill one orange after an ohter i get invites without having to ask for any.
The XP part of the pet has been fixed, in the old days the pet stole some of the xp your group made.
So peeps never liked a pet class in group.
Mythic has changed this so the pet now only steels some XP from you and no longer from the group.( dont worry he does not take a lot)
The lvl of you pet is allways in relation to your own lvl, wat i mean is iff you ding lvl 20 your pet will get a lvl higher.
As you grow older the lvl dif. between you and your pet will get bigger.
