Bug? Players, NPCs and mobs disappear?Follow

So, I just started playing DAoC, and have run into a problem. When I log on, I can play for anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour fine, then suddenly all the mobs, NPCs, and players just dissappear. Gone. Then I have to log off and back on, and they are back. I can still get chat messages, I can still be attacked (and killed), but I can't see any creatures, and I can't target people on my team.

Any idea what is causing this?

To the best of my memory, my hardware setup:
Card: MSI MS-StarForce GeForce FX 5600 XT (NVidia FX 5600 XT chip)
CPU: Pentium IV 2.8 GHz
Mem: 1GB

I'm currently running it at 1280x1024, and have tried "Default", "Best Visual Quality", and "Best Framerate" settings, all of which haven't helped any.

Any help figure this problem out would be appreciated.

Are you running your internet connection through a router?
