Is it worth it?Follow

I've been looking to get into a good MMO game for a while now, and I've tried free trials of many games (and some that weren't free), including EQ, Planetside, AO, and SWG. I've never really paid much attention to DAoC, but I've heard many good things about it, and wanted to know your general impressions of the game and how it might lean towards my play style.

I liked AO, but for osme reason it didn't stand out enough for me, and I actually bought SWG, but it got redundant very quickly (got bored with it by the end of the first month). I'm looking for a game that's pretty good on RP, and doesn't focus on grinding a lot, and has some pretty good variety to it. I'm kinda into the PvP and RvR ideas, as well. Do you think DAoC would be good, should I go with another MMO, or just skip the genre altogether?

Also, on some technical issues, I'm playing on a machine that has a 1.5 GHz Pentium M (which CLAIMS to be faster than a P4 2.0 GHz P 4M) with 512 of RAM and an ATI Mobility 7500 (32 Meg VRAM). Does anyone have an idea on how well this will work on my machine?

Finally, what's the subscription rate? (Couldn't find it on their site).

Thanks for your time, everyone.

Oops, just noticed that someone else already asked the same question with almost the same subject. Can I get this thread deleted/closed/whatever? Thanks.
