Depends really on what kind of player you are.
PvP? Camelot. EQ has PvP but it wasn't the primary focus so it's a bit unbalanced.
Crafting? I'd say a tie. Camelot crafting is more customizable in what you can put on armor/weapons, but also limited in what you can do, and one character cannot master more than one craft. EQ you cannot really make custom items with tradeskills, it's more of a "Items A, B and C combine to make item X". However one character can master all crafts eventually, and there are some really kick butt ultra high end items you can make.
PvE? EQ by a landslide. The reverse of camelot, EQ was designed around PvE while DAoC was designed around PvP. FAR more places to go and explore, and since PvP balance is not really important they can throw in some ultra powerful abilities and equipment because you'll be killing gods eventually. Very hard to get that big though.
Solo? Tie, both have classes that solo extremely well (Necros in both games) and classes that can't (pure melee's in both). However if you want to RvR in DAoC you really don't want to be solo, you'll need friends/guild when you get to 50 to compete.
Combat? DAoC is more interactive with positional styles and such, EQ is more "click auto-attack, press kick/bash when it ungreys". EQ is all about agro control and CC, you need to master that to succeed.
Magic? EQ. WAY more varied in what spells you get, ports, invis, levitate, turn opponent into a skeleton, debuffs, buffs, nukes, etc etc. Camelot is pretty thin when it comes to variety in magic. You'll have a handful of spells that you cast that really just boil down to nuke/heal/buff/debuff, with some CC.
Camelot gets a big negative for making you live with bad character choices. EQ, UO, AC all allow you to change your focus as you progress, in AC & UO if you decide at 45 you'd rather be a caster you can switch. In EQ you can master all weapon types on your paladin. Once you choose your meta-class & skill in DAoC, that's it, and you only get a handful of free chances to switch skills around. After 40 the only way is paying through the nose for respec stones or hope they do a big enough patch and give you a free one.
Off the top of my head anyway.
