What are your thoughts on this system?

Im not to sure what to think about it. To me it seems you will have a bunch of high level "low" level chars. This will make it interesting in RvR for sure.

You can only get free levels up to level 47, so if there are a bunch of level 47 toons in RvR, more RP's for all the 50s.

Considering the fact that PvE is excluded from half of the new benefits, from what I read on patch day, not too happy about it. But i'm sure all you peeps in RvR are peeing your pants, of course because of the fact that now it will be just a bit more challenging for you to kill other peeps. I just can't understand you people who get a kick out of killing other PCs. That is why I enjoy PvE far more that PvP or RvR. Not to mention that you can group with people from different realms.just my 'three cents.' Good luck all

as someone who has just completed the journey of leveling my first charactor to 50, Im a little upset. I thought they should have stopped the free level at 40 instead of 47. It should be difficult to create a level 50 character, thats how you separate the myths from the legends

I have mixed emotions. I've leveled 3 characters to 50, and it just seems almost too easy. But it does get stressful when leveling, and they needed to do something to help, but I think this is a bit much. A level every 3 days on some servers for certain realms.

People who enjoy RvR usually like this game because theres an option to RvR. If you decide not to RvR it's okay, you have that option. But players who enjoy PvE more usually play other games.

I would like to know how to avoid getting the free level without avoiding my trainer! It looks like the only way to "opt out" is to not train, since right-clicking the trainer both grants the level and opens the training window. Maybe I should type /train while targetting the trainer?

The free gold they hand out isn't nearly as much as I make levelling and so it makes it harder to equip my characters, which ends up making it HARDER to level my characters...

So... anyone have the information?

So.. I take it you play on a co-op server? Just a little info, MOST ppl play DAOC because of the PvP/RvR. Maybe not you or the others on Gaheris, but on the normal servers and the pvp server.. it's the end game. To each his own opinion though... I, for one, hate PvE. lol
