Cave ShammyFollow

Returning to daoc for an 8 month leave and i have a couple of questions.

I fooled around for a bit after growing tired of my main char's and built a fully cave,secondary mend shammy.Only got him to lvl 23 then procedded to the bg's.

I must say i did have alot of fun casting AoE roots and Aoe dots.I was wondering,how does a cave shammy campair at high lvl's in PvP?I would think pretty good,but i have no idea what changes has been made in the last few months.

Secondly,soloing with a cave shammy.Is it possible without to much hassle?

As of now,im forced to decide what class i want to choose.Casters are more appealing to me.Im a busy person IRL so i would like to decide on a class that allows me to solo in PvE and still measure up pretty good in pvp.

Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.
