I'm having a problem with this quest and don't know what to do. My first mistake was dumping ******* Ring before I should have. Customer Support returned it to me (Thanks Very Much Guys). I killed Nock and went to give it to Macnol. He wouldn't take it, even with ******* Ring in my ring slot. Now I can't continue with my Epic Quest. Any suggestions??

If you are trying to give him the ring, you should try giving him Nock's Head.
Also - it can be difficult if the dergans don't like you because they will attack you and he will run to support them, so that you can't give him anything.
Doesn't make much of a difference, though, since once he gets the head, he'll send all the furies after you anyway.

My bad. I didn't explain that I was trying to give Macnol Nock's Head. I tried to give it to him and he wouldn't take it. Then I tried attacking him and giving it to him during battle and that didn't work either. It's all very confusing.
