Mythic has done a lot to make the early game a lot less difficult. New characters can do a set of newbie quests and end up with an entire set of armor, weapon, and some accessories. Camp bonuses have been increased that can nearly double the experience from a kill. Free levels every 2-7 days, depending on what server and realm you play on (see "Population Bonuses" at camelotherald.com). New battlegrounds starting at level 1 where you can accumulate both experience and realm points for killing other players.

If you enjoyed the game before, you'll probably enjoy it again.

I have played DAOC on and off, on and off and on and off again. And the reason I keep coming back?...well because it ROCKS! I keep trying new MMORPGS out there and they are just weak in one aspect or another or I just get really bored with them. DAOC is always keeping it fresh with new ideas and free stuff. Its the only MMO where I keep learning new things almost every time I play. Did you know that Domnann aglators spawn every full moon near Grove of Domnann lake and feed on the monsters near by? I was certainly shoked when I goted jumped by a handful of those nasty buggers! This game is the best so keep plaing and have fun.
