keep goin link dead!!!!Follow

i have been playing on the server excalibur and recently the game seems to be lagging so bad that when i attack a mob the com goes realley slow this could be that my server is crap (AOL worst internet server ever i reccomend it not to any1) i have had more problems with it than any other server. Any way back to the point could enybody tell me what could be the problem and how to prevent it also in some cases i have gone linkdead im wondering if its because i have to ping the daoc address please help...!!!!!!
