AcuityFollow

Alright, I've been playing the game for a while now... but have never seen or heard anything explain what acuity is. Maybe it's because I don't need it, maybe I do, not sure. But the cleric buffs for acuity don't seem to do anything noticeable.

So, what is acuity and what does it affect?

Sorry for the dumb quest, but thanks for any help offered.

Acuity is your casting stat- Intel, charisma, empathy, or piety, depending on your class and realm.

On items, acuity will increase the appropriate stat for you. This ads to your power pool and, if a caster, the damage done by your spell (well, it raises te minimum you will hit for, but not the cap damage you can do)

The concentration buff, however, only works on list casters- sorcs, wizzies, theurgs, cabbies, runemasters, enchanters, etc. Hybrids and healer types gain no benifit from this buff.

ahh, right on. Thanks! Seems pretty dumb that clerics get a buff like this that is useless to them. Should help them heal better imo, more pwr would be nice too.

Oh well,

Thanks again!
