ranger's good ranged attack with some melee if you spec bow. but not that much rvr grouping.

Try a valewalker. They have a lifetap for ranged attack. snare a few other things. not alot of spell utility but you can cast alot. Their melee is quite good too. reactionary. not support tho. hybrid tank with damage spell life tap. fun.

i love battle druids. pet and dot attack (hey that's range!) minor melee in groups just cause you can. and tons of support. heal heal heal. I like it. root! ok

bards can train melee and are mostly support. but really, they suck melee and you dont want to use it. and ranged attack is just a low dmg insta shout...

vw is the best melee and ranged attack in hib i think. otherwise be a mage. are range all the time.

midgard thane is like you said. pve killing machine with ranged attack spells and melee too. not support, not hib, and not much for rvr gorups (they are good in them really if you play well but people shun them cause people are silly)

alb heritic perhaps much like you say. some ranged spells and melee and good support too.

if you mean hibs tho, and ranged really, and groups are not all important we are back to ranger!
