well depends on solo or group, for solo champion is very nice, good melee dmg, great debuffs, and good self buff, and then you got the popular vamp, nice self buffs, decent claw/styles for good dmg output.

Just to let you know, most of the ppl with the highest rps are bards/druids. I don't know why but they are /shrug

My husband played a druid and he had more rps than me (a champion) because he got rps for rezzes in addition to the regular realm points, which no offense to druids, I thought was a little unfair :-P .... I really enjoyed playing my champion in rvr and also had a vamp that did well in rvr. Hubby and I are now playing rangers together in rvr and we love it. If that helps any.

Hmmm, have enjoyed the Ranger, Nightshade, Vampiir and Champion when I played a friends. It all depends on your style, what sort of Alb do you play?

Ranger for if you like distance killing and stealthing around, or a melee spec if you want to enjoy the stealth wars (awesome, although clustered servers don't work well for soloers >_<)

Vampiir if you don't mind getting run over by radar groups and killed first in a group since you wear leather and float around with a white face in the Catacombs Client. Totally able to solo in PvE though. Orange con mobs and down are simple. Reds take some skill, and purples are doable depending.

Champions are just insane damage dealers, and with the Banelord ML line with TOA gear and buffs you are probably the main tank for damage, just not protection in Hibernia. Heros are just boring from all accounts, but that's just not my personal style, less options and tools than other classes. Wardens are good if made right, but damage output isn't great normally.

Casters: Enchanter is good solo, have speed pet nukes and point blank spells if needed. Eldritch is good for bolting or bombing depending on spec, no speed no pet though. Mentalist, just not as great in RvR anymore, but light spec is nice with charmed pets, no speed. Animist, good if you plan on camping a static area, no speed, no mobile pet, best spells are pet based. No clue about Bainshees, but I have seen some people cry about them.

Just some thoughts. I have played most classes at 50

Another reason that bards/druids tend to have the highest RPS is that they are desired group members. I see many calls over my /as for druids and bards for RvR. Both can heal and bards have endo regen and power regen songs. I play a warden and sometimes get tapped for RvR just for my bladeturn.

Hello!

I believe that the enchanter has been rather overlooked. One of the fastest growing toons in Hibernia. At lvl 50 immediately work on ML's. At ML 10 the chanter can do anything with a buff bot. Mana for PvE, and Enchantments is good without bot...

However, I role on a vamp. It's very nice, but they overrated, beyond the run o' the mill PvE, they aint that great, particularly because they are singled out as a soloing class and are made to solo against stealthers and groups. BM's do better front end damage...

Stealthers... nightshades are sorta dead...*shrug* maybe try one, see what happens...
