I am wondering why I am contstantly seeing a message when I log on that I have less than 7 days to pay my rent, yet when I go to the house and try to deposit money, it says I already have the maximum in lock box.
Any ideas?
Has this happened to anyone else?
And is the rent on the game measured in real time days?

Nope....just my beautiful villa in Stoneleigh near the river....I shut the one down in the South of France because it took two months to get to Camelot by horse.
But the rent is due based upon the house correct?...not the number of accounts you have or people that are residents there.

I called Mythic and they gave me an explanation.
The message that you have less than 7 days to pay your rent is an automatic thing and even if you have money in your lockbox it will come up anyway.

What good would the message be for then? I don't get that message if i have money in my lockbox. I get it if I only have money in my CM, which i often use to pay instead b/c I don't always remember to put money in the lockbox.
Sometimes CSR's are just idiots and don't know a thing. It is a shame, but you can't always trust their answers, but that one in particular does not make sense at all.

I hear you Thuri.....but I have spoken to 3 or 4 now...one in game and the others on the phone...they all gave the same explanation.
I guess its like owning a major brand of computer (wont mention names) and there is a problem and you call the 1-800 # and get someone reading you answers off a typed paper.

Are you in a guild that has a house with rent? Because guild members also get the message for the guild house (assuming the GM gives permission for all to pay in guild).
