All right, I get all the locations for stuff and quest and all but every time I try to access the location, I get no response is there a trick or am I doing it wrong. It is /location correct? Sorry I am still somewhat of a newbee. I would just like to find out where I am at against the quest item or person, you know? It would help to be able to find it. And yes I do know how to use the map just the map does not tell you exactly where the person is or item. Thanks for your help, see ya out there.

After you've been given a quest you can read what your current task or step is in Quest Journal (default "j", I guess). There's usually no detailed information, in terms of /loc data, where to get to, but with a little patience you'll be able to reach an approximate destination.

It'll take some time to learn the surrounding and topography of your realm. Be sure to download maps (with mob locations) from this website (or any other) and print them. That's very handy, especially while you're learning the realm.

To find an NPC you wanna talk to, first you need to get to a town or village he/she is supposed to be. Approach a guard or a sentinel, click on them and type "/where NPC's_name", e.g. "/where Eogan" (no quotes). The guard will then point you at the direction.
