Unable to PlayFollow

Can anyone help me please.

Bought DAOC today after reading that it was a game I might enjoy. After installing and downloading patches, I am unable to play. I get to the realm page, highlight a realm, click play, and go to a red and black loading screen with various messages top left. This screen then stays, and nothing happens. If I hit any key the whole thing quits. I have tried with and without the disc loaded. I tried with and without firewall(AVG) running.

I have to say I am not impressed by the lack of a support telephone number to call, as I will doubtless not get a respnse to my email for days.

Please can anyone help before I send the whole lot back.

Managed to sort out the logging on to game part (firewall configuration issue). Still have problems logging in to the support pages, but that is not a huge issue, so sorry to bother the forum.

glad you were able to fix it. There is a number to call Mythic, but it is difficult to find it as they prefer like most companies to use email.

Good luck..things get better after you are patched and can actually play. Downtime due to patching is fairly minimal in this game..maybe a day or two every two months.
