Wint has graciously offered to sticky a thread for us to sort ourselves into EST/PST and once the final server names have been announced, try to pool ourselves into them.
I will edit this primary post as I find out more information. You can reply to it now if you are an individual or a linkshell that is based in a specific time zone.
If your work schedule puts you in alignment with the "prime time" (generally considered 6PM to 12AM in each time zone) of a time zone where you don't actually live, just find the one that suits you best. I'll be lumping CST with EST for the purposes of sorting, and MST with PST.
So far, based on our completely unscientific survey of ZAM folks, the servers are:
ZAM New (all time zones): Ultros
ZAM Legacy EST: Balmung
ZAM Legacy PST: Hyperion
Legacy EU (official per SE): Ragnarok
These servers are naturally subject to change after Beta Phase III.
East Coast Legacy (6PM-12PM EST, 5PM-11PM CST)

Edit: Name changes are fine, just tell me once you're settled on the new/perma name in a few months. Mine will probably change as well, if SE gives us that option. (Going full Roegadyn with Catwyb Whowyn.)

Legacy -5 GMT (EST) but will probably do some rerolling once servers are officially live. Not affiliated with any big linkshells. I have 2 personal ones: Threads and Clownfish. My only current character is shown in my signature.
My brother Ragemore Shadowfiend and I are on the same server and occasionally play together. He is a west-y (MST) though. We both work long hours which makes us out for elite shells but are consistent players and a pretty good team.

Your character should still be there. They didn't wipe any character regardless of sub status.
