It's probably for the best, I saw the collector's edition of Tales of Xilia for the PS3 and I REALLY want it.
I played some Ni no Kuni yesterday. I find it pretty boring so far. I would say you aren't missing much.
Level 5 tried to recreate the charm and theme of childhood innocence in Ghibli movies, but they fell flat... those movies are easily relatable to adults and kids. This game feels like it's aimed entirely at kids. The story and themes have no depth whatsoever, and the entire game (so far) I feel like I'm being lectured to, like I'm a toddler. Be nice. Help people. Always tell the truth.
It doesn't help that my annoying sidekick is telling me what to do EVERY second and goes into long, in-depth explanations about the most obvious, trivial stuff.
I guess I'm getting Tales of Xilia when it comes out. I wish Namco would gives us westernfolk a little more love though. I like the Tales games, but Xilia is coming out
2 years after Japan got it. I'm not sure whether to not support them as a disgruntled customer, or to support them in hopes that they'll start releasing faster here if I give them money.
I'm playing...
League of Legends
Injustice
Tekken
Dragon's Dogma
