Montreal is a decent enough location for most of the US, but it's pretty awful for the EU players. Not much different from the server being in Japan as far as they go.
The floor of the Atlantic is littered with the highest speed submarine fiber optic cables in the world, especially to keep the two financial powerhouses in the world (New York and London) connected together as fast as possible. To Europeans, servers in Montreal will make a huge difference over those in Japan.
I hate that little ******* boy born from incest.... He is such as snob...
I just started the 3rd season.. I just made it to the wedding last night but was too tired to finish.. After hearing so much im afraid to watch it lol. But I can tell you this much! That little snob king does even worst things that will make you want to murder him! lol. I hate that little boy
I just watched the wedding.. Idk that I can ever watch this show again after what I just experienced.. My face was stuck in this position(http://alltheragefaces.com/face/surprised-gasp) even up to well after the credits of the show..
Well you do have a good spin on arguments. But I prefer to stick to the point.
I suppose sometimes I can be too blunt, but I do enjoy people with a sharp wit.
I kinda wanna take a stab at this. You say you like these arguments, but sometimes yours just don't cut it. Maybe they just don't have enough edge too them.
Edit: I was sooooooooooooooo mad at GOT last week. Red wedding threw me for a loop, and i want more lol.
Wifey ruined it for me with her constantly hyping it up. "Just wait. BIG sh*t is going down next episode."
"Um, okay."
I try to explain to her that it is possible to spoil something without telling what happens, and she just tells me to read the books.
Well, if past seasons were any indication, we all knew something big was going to happen. I haven't read the books, and i'm not going to start now. But yeah, i expected it, but didn't have anyone telling me how BIG it was going to be. I can see how that would make it a little anticlimactic for you.

That's interesting.. I didn't actually know that, but it makes sense.
It doesn't change the realities of distance, but we'll have to see if it's enough of an improvement for European players.

Georg RR Martin said something along the lines of "Now you know why all the book readers were sad thirteen years ago."
I have a feeling that HBO might just continue the story, whether there is a book or not.
Possible but i doubt they would have the same success.
It all depends on the writers, but I doubt they could pull it off with the same sense of epic grandness that Martin is capable of. They would probably be less likely to kill off popular characters, which I feel is one of the unique qualities of this story. I would much rather see another capable author finish the series (like sanderson did for jordan) rather than HBO deciding how the series should end.
True. Popular characters never got killed off in other HBO hit shows, like Sopranos and The Wire.
Puh-leaze. I'm sure HBO could keep the ball rolling if they were given direction by George R. R. Martin, without him finishing the book series, but I hope it doesn't come to that.
Well i finished the entire series today... I have to say, that red wedding scene... Was Brutal! As soon as i heard the violins starting to play, i paused it, made cofe, lighted a newport, and hit play... And i was not disappointed We need that kind of bloodshed in ARR!

I can't believe you just used the sopranos as your example of how HBO can make a show epic. The finale was one of the biggest disappointments ever.
