Chat Log features

In 1.0 did they have auto collapsing chat log? That is one function I would like to see, then I can have it go big during battles, etc. and keep it small when I am walking around just admiring the scenery :) Anyone think they might add that function?

As great as that it would be to have such a feature I have not seen anything like that thus far. Sadly it seems that might be one of the great FFXI features that will go by the wayside.

i have seen a link somewhere to the PS3 UI setup stuff but havent been able to find the link again yet... i believe alot of that would help you out as well as myself... if any of you might be able to post the link it would be appreciated.
