I was wanting the opinion of some players who had stuck with FFXIV 1.0, are legacy campaign players, and/or just plan on rolling on the FFXIV ARR Legacy servers upon launch.
I am struggling with whether to continue on my 1.0 character, or to start new in the game. The problem is my 1.0 character was not as well developed as many others that continued to play into the legacy campaign, but I do not want to lose my time spent especially since it was during the painful times when earning a level was rough.
I had the following: 50 CON, 27 THM, 37 BSM, 35 CRP (others at 15, 10 etc.), and about 25 million gil.
Compared to a lot of legacy players I realize that this is not a ton, but at the time of the game it was still a lot of time invested and effort for me. So considering the state of most legacy and 1.0 players, and anticipating how the legacy server economy's will be, what would you suggest?
I am leaning towards starting new, but I am just not sure. I do not want to be stuck with the economy being outside of my means and have everyone at 50. Do you think most legacy players will have several level 50's and enough invested to make what I've earned insignificant? Thanks any feedback will be helpful.
On a side note, do you ever envision Legacy server world transfers to non-Legacy servers and vice versa? Thanks again.
