The stat differences really are negligible when it comes to high level, because the differences are static. A person who's got a 4 point difference above someone at level 1 will have a 4 point difference at level 50, and so on. So literally as you level higher, the differences matter less and less, regardless of stat impact.
I think it's worth pointing out one small caveat to this, because the stats actually count towards your HP, MP etc. based on your current level.
Adding +1 VIT will change your HP:
3 HP @ LV 1-10
8 HP @ LV 11-40
13 HP @ LV 41-50
So the 4 VIT points is only 12hp at first, scaling to 52 hp later. With that said, 12 hp is probably a larger % of your hp pool at lvl 1, than 52hp is at lvl 50. Therefore, you can still say overall the racial stat differences matter less and less.
What I could not find is a chart of all the starting HP of each race. I'm curious if the starting HP
directly corresponds to the 1 VIT = 3 HP, or if there are some additional HP in the pool from somewhere else perhaps. If it is direct, then it would stand to reason that you would see a HUGE jump in HP at lvl 11, and at lvl 41. That's a 266% increase from lvl 10 to 11. Something must be missing from the overall HP calculation (not just straight VIT) because I don't recall seeing these jumps in the beta.
MOAR info needed.
