I am a legacy player and i just read on the official FFXIV website that if you already own FFXIV 1.0 on PC and if you want to play your char in the PS3 version too you can pre-order it and then link it to your SE account so you can use either system for playing your char.
My question is, and i know it's strange, but will the pre-order bonuses like the cait sith doll and moogle hat work if you apply them for both systems.

I'm going to jump out there and say 'Yes', as long as both platforms are tied to the same Service account. If they are on different Service accounts, then, obviously, the answer is 'No'.
Yep, if you apply the code to your legacy account, you will get the bonuses there. I don't have legacy, but was a 1.0 player and pre-ordered for PS3 and am going to be getting the items on my 1.0 account.

Thanks for the quick response, and I'm not just out for the pre-order bonuses i want to play on my ps3 when i feel like it and also support Yoshi P and Square as much as I can since they really have done a fantastic job on FFXIV so far.
On a side note does anyone know if they are taking PS3 Collectors edition pre-orders anymore? Thanks.

check Amazon for the ps3 collector edition, you also get early access.
