Ok, so I didn't participate in the beta, but I did preorder the CE, so now I have to wait until they email me my code for early access, then go to this page here?
the "bonus code" is the code I got in the email, when I preordered, and it's for things like the mog hat?
Correct me where I'm wrong. I don't want to spread false information.

I'm more confused than ever. How did you get a code in your email? You purchase it from online? All I have a PS3 18 char code on my receipt. I tried to register it that day long ago, but all they did was took my email address down and told me to hear back from them. Now this damn thing says wait until the 20th? WTF, so confused.

As I understand it (which isn't clearly), this is the page to register for those bonus items. In order to get early access, you only have to register that code before the official launch.
The pre-order code is supposed to be 20 characters long - XXXX - XXXX - XXXX - XXXX - XXXX
I received another code (not sure what it's for) in the format XXXXXX - XXX - XXXXXX - XXX (18 Char)
I used this code to register the game on SE's social website: http://na.square-enix.com/us/gamereg, but I don't think this does anything.
Edit: I haven't received a pre-order code myself at this point.

I ordered the CE digital download for PC. I immediately got an email for "A Realm Reborn Bonus Package" with an 18 digit "serial number/product code". Is that not my key for the bonus items?

Do you have the PS3 version or PC? It matters since the code is different. I'm not sure at this point about anything else. I'm confused and probably going to get screwed.

it seems like this site went up in anticipation of the release of the 20 digit code. The 18 digit code is probably something we could have put in at any time, once we got it from amazon or whoever we preordered from.

They said you will get an email with the code shortly before release.

It's weird because it says for PS3 users to go though the PSN Store which I don't see a way to enter anything yet. I need a specialized code like I got for Phase 3 beta.

Yup, I was given an 18 character code when I pre-ordered months ago.
I'm sure that by registering the 18 character code online, it'll give us a promo code to redeem in the PS Store. Unless, by registering online, it'll just send our items to us via the Delivery System in-game.

20 character alphanumeric code required, but sent an 18 character code. What would the 18 char code be for? I attempted to put that into the http://na.square-enix.com/us/home site but only got the message the code was already used. *shrug
I'm going with the 'they send the 20 char code closer to the date' because I'd probably lose it between now and then anyway. :)
Or you could always wait for them to email us like they said they would...

I'm totally confused. I pre-ordered my PC physical CE from EB Games, which is the retail store listed in SE's site for my area, and got the 18 digit code. The store never asked for my email address, so there is no way they can email me any other code. I have a feeling I'm gonna get screwed.

There's a website that you go to in order to register the code that asks for your email address.

I'm right there with ya. I preordered from Gamestop and got my early access code, but no registration code. So as it stands now I have early access to a game I can't register.
