PS3 P4 Download and Install instructionsFollow
I am hoping that the PS3 codes get mailed out sometime today since the PSN updates today and it would be the perfect time to let people DL the launcher so that we can start DLing the game on the 15th.
No need to get worried till people start posting they got a code.
I dont see why they would want everyone DLing all at the same time... Doesnt make any sense at all to me... At this point even tho i was in P3 ive excepted that i wont be getting an email at all... If i do great if not well ill see you all on the 27 and hope my names not taken...

I think the problem is they don't want people to panic and start calling and emailing they didn't get their code and other people did so they send them at once.
Not everyone will be d/l at the same time, Friday is open to those already in beta and sat is everyone else so they split it up. PC players already have d/l...

Worst case scenario, we can form a group and threaten SE tonberry style. I'm sure they would give the up codes before we actually reached them with our rubber knives. They would never have to find out.

Your character is on their servers, so you will have the option to keep that character once you log back in.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the character appearance info is saved locally (to either your PS3 or your PC) It's not the character itself, just the settings used to achieve that appearance. Be careful not to delete the appearance info along with your client. Just wanted to point this out in case someone runs across any files not associated with the client.

The crazy part is I use an @live.com email address (basically Hotmail)...
And they are not working right now so I can't even open it up to check the SPAM folder... lol

Are you referring to the actual game itself that is starting 8/27 (and early access for those that preordered it?)
PC and ps3 will both have access to the p4 beta.
Legacy will have access to Level 20+ and pvp
pc and ps3 will both have the opportunity for early access if they pre-ordered.
All need the appropriate code.

I've read on the Beta Forums that japanese say the size of the P4 and PSN downolads are the same. I assume that they are the same, the difference being that PSN is the digital version whereas the P4 codes we get by mail are for those who already order they physical copies and somehow they need the code to download the client from PSN without the need of making a purchase.
