Future storylinesFollow

So the way the game stands right now, choosing a city really only makes a difference up to 15 and then you're out there in the world doing things as they come, and then Grand Companies matter most. But, what about future patches and expansions?

The reason for my questions is that I will be bringing up a SMN as my main, but I love the Gridania NPCs, city, storylines, and everything. Now, I've done it in 1.0 and I've done it in beta, so if I decided to start in LL to make it easier on my SMN I wouldn't mind going through that storyline. But if future patches and expansions are going to bring us back to our home cities rather than GCs I may want to stick with Gridania and hoof it over to LL when servers come on.

Anyone have any thoughts or insights, or better yet developer comments that might shed some light on our futures?

You can always create a 2nd character. That's the only way I can think of to experience all the story from another city state unless you are willing to watch it on youtube.

Yeah, just as 1.0 did, after level 15 any future story line is probably going to be following your GC. Even with the GC been different, in 1.0 story line of the Meteor; you have to go and talk to all GC leaders so you still got all other GC stories too. Future expansion will be Ishgard and new lands above.

I personally will be making other characters to get the story line of all 3 cities up to level 15. After that everything follow on my main character.
