Yes, I think so. I think Phase 2 and Phase 3 both started at 9am GMT which is 7pm for me in Australia.

Just a quick question, with that not being far away, have they started sending out the new beta codes for PS3 people? I know I played in the last beta phase and I believe I read that I'm guaranteed to get into the open beta without signing up again right? But I've not gotten any kind of email or anything.

For PC - yes, guaranteed, just log on as before.
For PS3 - yes, guaranteed and they are sending out new passwords now and for the next 24 hours in batches. Watch your email like a hawk!
Was it just me or they messed up your mail too? In mine says it will start at Monday (?) 16 and end at Friday(??) 19 so yeah I figured it was a mistake but it was kinda weird.
So would this mean that, for those who weren't in P3, it will begin at 9am GMT on Saturday then?

They got dates right on mine.
Exact quote: "The final beta will kick off on Friday 16 August 2013 at 9:00 GMT and last until Monday 19 August 2013 at 9:00 GMT"
Assume the new beta joiners will be exactly 24 hours later but we will have to wait for a new beta player to receive their email.

Just to check (didn't want to start a new thread) - is everyone in the same boat as me where you've been able to download the launcher but not the actual game on the PC?
My better half was in the beta so she doesn't have to do anything and also gets to start playing on friday. I was not in the beta so i get to start on saturday correct? Will i need to download something aside from the new client that was posted a few days ago in order to play??

You will use the client you downloaded to download the game. I heard it's around 6.7 GB's of data. For most people that's anywhere from 90 minutes to 24 hours depending on your connection. I have no source but I've seen it posted around that the download of the actual game files will be on the 15th, but I have no time for the 15th.

Yes, the rest of the files should be available to download tomorrow on the 15th for PC.

The characters in this phase will carry over to Early Access and release. So whatever progress you make this weekend will stay with you, as long as an emergency doesn't happen and Square needs to delete all character data.

That's right. August 17th through August 19th for those who weren't in phase 3. Most of us here start on the 16th at 9am GMT. Same time of the day, just 24 hours before.

Ok, thanks for the heads-up. Our connection is pretty good here so I don't think it will be to bad. The only bad part will be watching my GF play it all day Friday while I have to wait.
