Sorry if this had been posted already, but if you pre-order FFXIV on PSN, it reveals the time Early Access begins at Sat Aug 24 @ 2:01am PST / 5:01am EST. The date was known, but now you have the exact time.

It also suggests that the official launch starts Aug. 26 @ 9:01pm PST / Aug 27 @ 12:01am EST.

Well damn; that's two hours before I get out of work! And three hours before I get home! I'm gonna be behind! Smiley: frown

Good to know when I can start wasting my vacation away, though. Thanks for the info...

Early access was for pre-orders for ARR. Doesn't carry over from 1.0 so you'd have to pre-order again.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

Not automatically. You'd either need Legacy Status (obtained by paying for 3 months of FFXIV in 2012), or a preordered copy of ARR. But starting with the official launch times I mentioned in the OP, you will be allowed to download the complete game free and play for free until Sep 9. So there's a free trial in it for you at least if you can stand to wait a few more days.
