Problem linking SE with PSN on PS3

When I load the launcher it says "Cannot launch Final Fantasy XIV. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download. A re-install will not be necessary." I tried using a different user on my PS3 to get the promo code to work to download the client because my main user would not work with the promo code for some reason. Its giving me this message when I run the client on my main user name, but when I run the client on the user I used to download the client it prompts me to link my SE and PSN. I dont want my non main PSN account linked to my SE. How do I fix this so I can link my main PSN to my SE?

Right now it's all screwed up. They took down the game from digital download on PSN too. I'd sit back and wait at this point.

I'm on PS3 and I had no probs

I was previously in P3 Beta on PS3
I got an email from SE with p4 code
Went to PSN redeemed my code
Agreed to terms and conditions
Linked my PSN account to my SE account and DL'd the game
I am now fully DL and updated and just waiting for Beta to start

Mine went the exact same way, only, after the instal there was no real update. Was there an update for you? And if you try to boot up right now does it mention an invalid ID and needing to buy the game and using a promo code?

That's pretty much what happened to me. Some error about no valid service account.
