1. Alexander this weekend. Managed to down each of the turns once, with no loot. Got the accessories piece for completing all four but that is it. Need to down these a few more times and get myself some loot if I even hope to touch savage when it comes about.
Gearing paladin. It has become my main considering my new static setup needs me there. Got him to 182. Last week got a spring,boltx2,pedal, and crank. This week so far I have floors 1,2, and 4 cleared with loot and got chain, bolt, and shaft. So: 1/4 towards both pants and chest, I have a belt and two accessories on paladin, 1 accessory on bard, 1/2 towards arms, 1/2 towards feet, and 0/2 towards head. Hoping that floor 3 brings me the crank and I can get some gloves this week. That is my weekend goal, to fight the jiggly man over and over until that happens. Sucks that df groups are 50/50 hit or miss.

2. Need to try my hand at Ravana Ex. I really do.
Having a heck of a time finding success in this fight, 100% due to others not knowing what to do with prey. So, PSA. Prey in Ravana EX.
Two types. 1 - single prey. Single prey happens earlier, and immediately before the phase where everyone stacks at C and runs a clockwise circle kiting the tethered blue orbs. Someone gets prey on their head, and ravana turns around and casts his 270 degree supanaka (sp?) attack (looks like titan stomps) on whoever has prey. For this reason the guy with prey needs to go bring it to the main tank, then go stack at C with everyone else. Then the main tank turns ravana clockwise facing away from the group as they move so that the blue orbs are avoided and the 270% titan stomps only hit the main tank. Ezpz.
2 - Double prey. Kills all my groups. People have no idea. So here it is. Ideally you have the four corners marked A, B, C, and D (D is blank but metaphorically present). K. Double prey happens after swords. You guys know swords, the 1, 2, 3, 4, blades where you go to your corresponding area and move to mid as he charges, well this happens right after that and it can be complicated. What will happen is that ravana will tag two people with the prey icon. Watch next to your name for the debuff, because the over the head icons LIE. Don't know if this was intended. Anyway, two people get the prey. One runs to A, one runs to B. At this time, Ravana is long casting Final Liberation. You have a ton of time. So where does the rest of the party go? Go to C, D, or in-between C and D. Now the big purple circles should pop up (still ravana is long casting final liberation). These circles should be placed so one is at D, one at C, and one in the middle of C and D. Staggered. So everyone with circles gets hit once and that's it. Now there are three people that are not going to have prey or a circle. What do they do? About this time Ravana finishes up his final liberation cast and shoots an attack out to the prey targets (who should be at A and B) and remembers where he hit them. They get a strong debuff as well. Two of the three people who don't have prey or circles should be moving over to A and B respectively so that they are able to stand at A and B on top of the prey target, and take the prey after the first hit. Then the ones who got hit (and originally had prey) will then move towards each other in-between A and B on the edge of the map, while the two new guys who have prey are at A and B. This causes Ravana to charge and hit the ones at A and B without touching the original prey targets or the people with circles. Then everyone stacks in the middle for the next attack and gets ready to spread out for the Garuda wind.
Many groups want to pass the prey to the paladin and have him hallowed for the first hit, then move slightly so the next hit doesn't hit the party, and so forth, which imo is less taxing on healers, but is complicated mechanics/wise, introduces more variables, and is probably all and good if you have a smart group, but as I have discovered, is not ok for the masses.
Anyway. I am 100% confident that if I jumped into a farm group I would be on my feet at the end. Now to find a farm group (then find out if they will take me on).

3. Bard at 179, Paladin now at 175. I hope to have paladin at 179 by the end of the weekend. Then I'll keep gathering law and seals to buy for summoner. The road is long, that's for sure.
Got a bunch of 180 and 170 for summoner now. Picked up the sweet looking lvl 55 dungeon robes last night. Summoner still at lvl 55, but getting there. Bard at 180, Paladin at 182.

6. Daily gc turnins. Things are 52-53 now with the exception of 57 botanist and 60 carpenter. Crafting and gathering are side thoughts for me at the moment, but I still spend 45 minutes each day to get all those items together because that daily experience is just too good to pass up.
Still doing these. Everything is above 53 now. Weaver and leatherworker at 55. Botanist 58, miner 53. Getting there. But the pockets hurt really bad. Down about 3 million. Hoping the materia IV costs pick up a bit more. Have a feeling that they will spike on the next relic quest. So till then, I'll hold onto my stacks and stacks of materia until they spike, and make a killing, hopefully.
