Mine was shipped on the 7th. It started in Omaha , then went to Louisville, and the last record was in Philladelphia!

When the hell it actually gets to the UK I have no idea. This was with the Express delivery. I would not like to use SOE's 'normal' delivery service.

I preordered through EB Games and mine arrived at 8:59 CST today. Only bad thing about that is I am at my office and have to wait till tonight to load it up.

Called EBgames.com at 9:30AM this morning to check on status of my game. They verified that it shipped last night via FedEx, checked Tracking number and it is on the truck en route for delivery.

I just finished installing my copy. I have to say, I was surprised at the number of young children in line (for Halo2) with parents. On a school day.

Did you get an email from EBgames with the tracking number, or did you have to call to get it?

Gamestop at the Great Mall here in Milpitas, CA said that they SHOULD have copies in today (Tuesday) at noon. I pre-ordered the collectors edition (pet dragon woot!), but am a little worried as the gamestop website says CE ship on Wednesday. :(

I haven't "seen" my copy. But my UPS information finally updated and it is on a truck headed to my house. Now I have to figure out how to fake an ilness to get home early hehe.

If I check my order on the Station Store it still says "This order is being fulfilled"
It is being sent USPS Priority so I hope it actually got sent. For some reason USPS Priority can take from one day to two weeks where I live. Though SOMETIMES I think that the shippers must be slapping those priority lables on them and then take their time actually driving them to the post office.

After reading on the EQ2 official forums about someone in Cali going to Fry's Electronics to get it, I went first thing this a.m. (here in north Dallas)and they had it! The guy said they had it last night and were doing 200 manual sales tickets b/c they were not supposed to sale it that soon.

If you have a Fry's Electronics in your area, i would suggest going up there asap to see if they have it.

got my collectors edition just now at gamestop at great mall in milpitas, ca. i got the second to last copy, and they said they were short on all of them. they said sony screwed up the production and they would trickle out over the next few days.

i think they actually just waited until the last minute to START producing it because it wasn't done yet, but thats just my opinion based on experience with sony...

..anyway, YAY ME! Playing on Unrest tonight. WOOT!

I got my DVD version today, 11/9/04 at 11:30 Central Time at Gamestop in the New Orleans, LA area. They had the DVD and CD versions only, CE was delayed (the store manager was po'ed, since he ordered the CE).

Got mine at Southpointe Mall in Lincoln, NE about noon. They got 15 copies of the dvd and 15 copies of the cd on top of the reserved ones. There was five left of each when I got there.

Got a call from UPS to say that my EQ2 has arrived in the country but got stopped at customs. I had to pay £18 over the phone to release it and it will arrive tomorrow.

The game has now cost me over $100 but worth it :)

My SOE copy has left the UPS distributer about 40 miles from my house, but is not slated for delivery until tomorrow... Think it has to hit the local UPS shop 3 miles from my house first.

If anyone hears news of some crazy hi-jacking a UPS semi... well I couldn't wait any longer.

I just cancelled my SOE order for the Collectors Edition because AMAZON claims to have them in stock and is shipping within 24 hours. HOW could they send these things to every store in the country and every mail order house in the country and not even supply their own customers who PRE Ordered them directly the first day they offered them? ACK!

How were JUST THOSE copies kept from getting into the country?

Still waiting for my copy of CE of EQ2.
I ordered the CE of amazon.co.uk for a total of 36 pounds including shipping. Now if i convert that into euro's that's 51 euro's, wich is only 1 euro more then the regular DVD version i can buy at the gameshops here in the netherlands :)
My patience will be rewarded...

Got mine around 5:30 PM 11/9/4 at Target (DVD) in Conroe, TX

No pre-order, they had like 10 or so copies available. 5 of each CD and DVD. The GameStop right next door was sold out.

$39.99 + tax

According to Sony (after 4 hours on the phone trying to get CS and online talking through their CS chat), the pre-order I made from their website won't even be SHIPPING until Thursday or Friday this week...

Thank you for your recent pre-order or order of EverQuest [R] II: Collector’s Edition.

We experienced an unfortunate delay with U.S. Customs in clearing importation of recent shipments of the "tin" in which it is packaged. As a result we will not begin shipping the orders for these units until late this week.

We offer you our apology.

At this time we would like to offer you the ability to cancel your Station Store pre-order or order. No refund is necessary as your product has not been shipped and you have not been charged for the purchase.

To cancel send your Station Name and Order number to returns@soe.sony.com. Requests for cancellation must be received by 6:00 PM PST on Wednesday, November 10, 2004. Once you request the cancellation you will be unable to reinstate that order. If you decide you want the product you will need to visit the Station Store to repurchase it (/store.station.sony.com/h...4-CLLCTR).

If you choose not to cancel your pre-order or pending order (and purchase the Collector’s Edition from the Station Store), we will include an additional seven (7) days service in addition to the regular thirty (30) days once you register a Collector’s Edition account key.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Sincerely,

Sony Online Entertainment
