Pointless post, just needed to vent. =D
Anyway, I went and stood in line with a ton of halo nuts at this midnight madness thing eb games had,trying to get my hands eq2. But after 2 1/2 hours of standing and listening to the halo guys talk about much they own, I get up to the counter and ask for eq2 and they are sold out...I couldnt believe it. I went with a friend who was getting halo and I was joking with him, how halo was gunna be sold out and blah blah blah. Needless to say he had a ton a jokes for the ride home. Anyway, tomarrow I shall be born!!

Cuz Im an idiot, and really didnt think it would sell out so fast. But trust me, I wont rest till I find it tomarrow!
Something similar happend to me when I started FFXI. I had planned on walking into stores to purchase in hopes that I would be able to play on the very first day of release, but all the local stores were sold out for days, and I ended up just ordering the game with overnight delivery option.
I just ordered EQ2 today (didn't make up my mind wether or not to play it till today ;d), with overnight shipping. Some friends of mine who are coming to EQ2 with me from other mmorpgs were planning on picking up their copies in stores. Hope they don't get delayed like I once was.

man i got lucky-I was gonna shop for it tomorrow and my buddy called me from frys electronics (west coast) and asked if i wantd cd or dvd-I been playing since 11pm -its better then I imagined :)

Preordered it long time ago, costed alot more than just to buy in a store, including shipping bill for 40 bucks.. Bough another copy 5 days before game release in a store.. Life is just not fair lol.

Nah, I didn't even get CoP, was too busy playing L2 at the time of its release. I was talking about US first release of FFXI back in October 2003.

Unless you had it preorded in my arrea, you won't find a box on the shelves either. Got my collectors edition and 2 dvd boxes early yesterday.
WHOO HOO! 11 am and just got back from eb where I picked up the LAST copy they had!! And its the dvd too so no 10 disc install =D

I just finished installing and its like at 99% and a window pops up; System standards not met. Or something like that...Im like serious 10mb of memory under and it wont play.
Im damned if I dont get on today, so off the store for some ram I go!!
