Ok, this is Oranimut's wife actually, using his account to put up a small post of my own. We have been members of allakazam for ages, at least since I met him and we started dating. When I first started using Alla, it was a little confusing to me and was hard for me to figure out where the info that I wanted and needed was. Since then, I have not become an expert, but I do know that with enough plugging away, I can find anything and everything, that is PLAYER SUBMITTED, without too much trouble. Of course, that all depends upon how quickly Alla can go through all the information they receive. I'm also certain that they try very hard to verify all the information before simply posting it up on the website. There is also the fact that they provide information for several games. Seems to me that the free sites that you have been talking about are dedicated to a single game. Doesn't that mean that they can devote massive amounts of time and resource to that particular game? Well, Alla has to come up with resources and time to work on how many games? Ummm, I see links for at least 8 different games.
Seems to me that if you are going to be upset with a pay site being a little slow on getting a brand new game, with all the new information and changed setups and everything, then you should be a little upset with the free sites for not having at least a minimum of 4 games in their setup as well. Come on, give Alla some credit. They have limited time to spend on each game, I'm certain. Doesn't help that the game has apparently gone through a massive amount of changes between Beta and Live play.
Give them a month. If the information isn't vastly updated and you are still disatisfied (I know, it's mispelled), then go ahead and get pissed off. Otherwise, hush up and sit back and enjoy the ride. You could have just decided to not order the game, not play the game, and wait until all the information is made available to you. That way, you could get all the spoilers before you ever have to commit a single penny of your own money. However, it sounds like you went ahead and spent money, so play and learn like the massive amount of other players are doing. And send your info in to Alla so that they can improve this site. Oh, and I don't think you have to do pen and paper style, think there is a way to directly log all your text into a computer file, so that you could just copy and paste directly from that. Of course, I don't know for sure about that, but maybe ask around for that option if its available.
Ok, that's my rant and raving for now, feel free to rate my husband any way that you want. He hardly ever posts, so probably won't even notice anything. :)
